Vendro is starting in Calgary, Alberta, and the immediate area. These are the kinds of locations we are preparing to serve; we are arranging our first placements now.
Location types.
Every location is different, so every placement starts with a visit and a written proposal.
- Workplaces
- Offices, industrial facilities and warehouses. Sites with shifts that start early or run late, break rooms away from nearby food, and staff who cannot easily leave the site.
- Residential buildings
- Apartment and condominium buildings. A lobby, mail room or amenity space where residents can grab a drink or snack without going out.
- Schools and campuses
- Schools, colleges and campuses. Student areas and staff rooms, with a product range set to each institution's food and nutrition policies.
- Hospitality and recreation
- Hotels, gyms, recreation centres and entertainment venues. Guests and members who want a drink or snack on the way in or out, at hours when other options are closed.
- Service and waiting areas
- Automotive dealerships, service centres and healthcare facilities. Customers and visitors who are waiting, and staff working through the day.
What makes a location a good fit.
- People
- Enough people pass through on a typical day to keep a machine fresh and stocked.
- Space and power
- Floor space for the machine and a standard electrical outlet nearby.
- Access
- A way to bring stock in for restocking and service.
- Need
- Few other food or drink options close by, or at the hours people are there.
